Depending on the location and property, titles range between Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), Governor’s Consent, Excision and Registered Survey.

C of O is a leasehold type of title that confers a 99 years lease on the property. Governor’s Consent is a free hold type of title that confers indefinite lease on said property. Excision is a type of title that, by government’s approval, delineates a portion of general to a communal settlement, which in turn has been bought and used for a real estate development by generalshop and with the consent of the State. Registered Survey is a type of title that basically shows the property has been registered for the applicable use.
